About the name The domain name Shadowsinflight.net was suggested by Kya, my host and owner of free webhosting service Bubble.nu. There is therefore no personal meaning in the name. I basically loved the sound of it, and still do. From then till now Shadowsinflight.net was born August 28th 2007, after I'd taken a break from webdesigning and decided to step back into the virtual world. I wanted something small and easy to manage, so I gave blogging a go for the second time in my history as a webmiss. I have lived under various roofs, since I don't have the means to pay for monthly hosting: Kya (Tehlove.org), Ajemi (J-lee.org), Bianca (Killtheriot.org) and Kya again (Bubble.nu). I have been hosted by Bubble.nu since Christmas of 2008, and I can guarantee it's a great service that's worth checking out. I figure that owning a blog is fun, although sometimes I feel uninterested in blogging about myself (that, or my life is too uneventful). It still remains a nice place to unwind or just type when I feel like typing something, and at least my site doesn't look dead. Besides, one can make lovely friends with a blog. My plan at the moment is to create a portfolio hosted by this domain, and keep on working on my fanlistings collective, Anaphora.
Do I host? I'm pretty sure nobody is interested in knowing about this, but I decided to mention it just in case: I am not hosting unless you're a really close friend or family member. I basically don't want to have to deal with any problems a troublesome hostee could cause, since I love my site and don't want to risk anything happening to it.
